Situated on the waterfront and in the centre of St Margaret's Hope in South Ronaldsay, 3, The Noust provides an ideal base for exploring Orkney or just simply away from it all. Yes the waves do literally lap against the front wall of the house!! Fear not The Noust has been there for hundreds of years (nobody really knows - but three hundred seems a good estimate) and weathered many an Orkney storm.
'The Noust' is a collective name for the white building you see in the picture 1 & 2 are on the right hand side and are privately owned. Number three is on the left and runs the length of the other two. Providing accommodation for up to five people in three bedrooms. A good quality bed settee in the lounge adds flexibility. The house has a Scottish Tourist Board three star rating.

The view from the front lounge and main bedroom windows gives a peaceful isolation - despite being in the centre of the village and it's amenities.
